A little about me

Hi, I'm Darius. I genuinely love numbers.

I spent 9+ years in corporate accounting, working with everyone from scrappy startups to large companies with complex books. I've seen what good financial systems look like up close — and I've seen what happens when they're missing. I'm a licensed CPA, and I built this firm to bring that level of rigor to small businesses who deserve it.

Outside of work, I just married the love of my life, Liz — who happens to be a brilliant lawyer (so yes, we are dangerously organized at home). I love clean systems, color-coded spreadsheets, and the moment a business owner finally sees what's actually possible in their numbers.

I don't. I keep your books spotless and hand them off cleanly to your tax preparer — or help you find a great one. Staying in my lane lets me be excellent at what I do.

What about bill pay or chasing invoices? +

Also a no. I'm not your AP clerk or your collections team. I'm your bookkeeper and your strategic finance partner — that's where I bring the most value.

How fast will I actually hear back from you? +

Within 24 hours. Always. Email me a question at 9pm Sunday — you'll have a real answer by Monday end-of-day. No ghosting, no "I'll circle back next week."

My books are a disaster. Will you still take me? +

Yes — that's actually a great moment to bring me in. We'll do a one-time catch-up/cleanup project, then start your monthly service from a clean slate.

Do I have to commit to a long contract? +
